Description
A water dispersed acrylic primer used to treat BrickShield brick slip carrier boards or any porous surface prior to fixing brick slips or stone cladding.
Porous surfaces absorb water from any adhesive that is used on them (a process called suction). This causes the adhesives to dry out before they have formed a full chemical and mechanical bond. Treating the porous surface with a penetrating primer prevents this from happening.
One 2.5l tub of ProofBase Universal primer will cover approximately 12m2 of wall when diluted with water at a ratio of 50/50.
